ABOUT ME
My name is Marley Simmons, I am a 29 years old professional makeup artist.
Represented by DirectionsUSA agency and in the I.A.T.S.E Local 798 Makeup Artist Union.
I have always had a passion for all things involving the makeup industry and I wanted to make my passion my career. That led me to graduate high school early to pursue my dreams of being a makeup artist. I graduated from House of Orange Makeup School in June 2012, located in The Netherlands.
Getting my education in Europe was such a great opportunity. I met and worked with such amazing and talented people in Holland that set me up for success in the states. I have worked with wonderful photographers, models, designers, agencies (DirectionsUSA, Marilyn's Agency, Salt Models, Ursula Wiedmann Models) on commercials (Marriott, Captiol One, Truly Spiked and Sparkling, Mavyret and William Murray Golf, Connected Services, Zappos Running, Gal Meets Glam, Jesus Christ Superstar, ZenWTR, Joye Law Firm, Cablivi, Aeropostale Summer 22', Lowe's and HomeDepot), tv sets (Mr. Mercedes, OBX (2 seasons) and The Righteous Gemstones (3 Seasons), Keyed on Swagger (Season 2), The Obscure Charm, HGTV Rock The Block S3, Southern Charm (Season 8 & 9), OKOP, The Young Wife, The Out-Laws)) and fashion shows including Charleston Fashion Week and NYFW (ss17 and ss18), which has been my dream since I started doing makeup. I want to continually grow and evolve my career and work with like minded creatives.
I live in Charlotte, NC and travel for work as well as work on east coast including: NC, SC, GA, VA and NY
